Butterfly

A romantic dreamy dress made using stunning Nottingham lace, it has a soft mermaid shaped skirt, and a waterfall frill on the neckline.
This dress was copied from a 1930's lace wedding dress, and the shape has been kept exactly the same.
The skirt is slightly longer at the back, there is also an option to have a small train. Different shades of satin slip worn under the dress draw attention to how special the lace is,
the slip can be made in ivory satin as seen here, or faded dusky pink, champagne, or mocha.

Starlight

This elegant gown is again copied from a 1930's dress, and has a sensual 'Movie Star' feel. It has a very low cut back with cross over straps, and fine pleating under the bust.
The sash is integral and can be tied in a bow at the back or brought around the waist to the front, the fabulous heavy silk satin has a wonderful texture
The dress is available in white, ivory, gold or silver grey. With or without beaded trim on straps, as shown in the final image.

Violette

Shown here is a beautiful sophisticated style, copied from a 1930's dress, this time with a slightly updated neckline and a sweet petal-shaped sleeve.
The beautiful Art Deco seam patterns make this very special, and the bias cut heavy silk satin gives a 'slinky' feel.
The dress has a small train.

Florence

Based on a 1940's wedding dress, has a slightly more A line skirt than 'Violette', and a cross-over subtly sexy neckline.
Made in finest silk satin, shoulder embellishment can be added or kept simple as desired. It has a pretty puff sleeve with a cuff, but can also have a long sleeve, or a small lace sleeve to match the champagne beaded shoulder detail.

Bette

Inspired by the glamourous stars of the 1940's, this dress was copied from an evening gown, a simple yet very well cut, figure-flattering dress.
Made from silk crepe which has a fabulous heavy drape, the soft pleats on the upper section of the skirt are asymmetric and create a small peplum effect .
It has a subtle cowl neck at the front and a low back with sparkling ivory and silver beaded trim.

A small belt completes the look, this can have a simple covered buckle or a reproduction vintage diamante buckle for extra glamour.

Blanche

Based on a perfectly proportioned little 1950's dress, a simple flirty shape in gorgeous French lace, with a sweetheart bodice.
The dress has a boat neck, low back and flattering short sleeves.
The neckline is finished with a sparkly lace trim, but can also be trimmed in un-beaded French lace. The shape flatters most body types.
Different lining fabrics can be used to give a deeper colour, or to show off the lace pattern.

Chantilly

This dress has an Italian silk organza skirt which can also be full length or ballerina length, shown here in 'Tea length'.
The bodice is lined in a subtle shade of 'mocha', with a very fine ivory French Chantilly lace overlay, and a Chantilly lace trim.
A super-pretty dress with contrasting lining to create a 'vintage' colour effect. Based on a classic 1950's shape.

Tea Rose

Is a dainty French lace dress with a tiered skirt and fitted bodice, copied from a sweet lace 1960's dress.
The open neckline at front and back is finished with a dainty floral and pearl trim.
Shown here with a long sleeve but also looks equally lovely with a short or three quarter sleeve.

Stella

A classic 1960's style, which flatters many body shapes, has a boat neck and low back, with a French lace overlay and a neat ribbon bow on the waist.
The skirt is Italian silk organza over a slightly contrasting lining, and is softly ' tulip' shaped , which gives it a lovely vintage feel. The dress can also have short lace sleeve.

'Audrey' jacket

A beautifully shaped little cover up, which works well with Starlight and Butterfly. The fabric is embroidered silk organdy, and was made in Nottingham by a family run firm who have been making lace for three generations. Available in two different embroideries, 'Meadow' which is shown here or 'Daisy chain' which is used for the Butterfly dress above.
The jacket hem is edged with a vintage style beaded leaf trim.
