Angel

ANGEL is a romantic wedding dress closely modelled on a stunning 1930s wedding dress – subtly updated for a flattering fit. Angel’s  features include delicate flutter sleeves, a slender bodice, and a cleverly panelled skirt and short rounded train. This lovely dress can be made in fine Chantilly lace ( first image) or mid weight lace. A slip dress to be worn underneath is included in the price with a choice of three shades.

Butterfly

BUTTERFLY, a dreamy romantic dress in floaty, light-weight, rose patterned lace or slightly heavier mid-weight lace. Butterfly has a soft ‘mermaid’ skirt, and waterfall frill at the neckline. Its elegant proportions are closely based on an original 1930s lace wedding dress. The price includes a satin slip dress to be worn underneath.

Violette

VIOLETTE, Copied from a 1930’s dress with a small rounded ( puddle) train, and a fitted but still flowing skirt. This lovely dress can have a lace panel and lace sleeves, or be kept simple and classic in silk satin. It also looks fabulous in silk crepe which has a subtle textured finish. Beaded appliqués can be applied on the shoulders as required.

Bette

BETTE, inspired by the glamorous stars of the 1940s, this very elegant dress is based on a gorgeous 1940s evening gown. It is very well cut, and is a really figure-flattering dress. The silk crepe fabric has a lovely heavy drapey quality, and the soft pleats on the upper section of the skirt are asymmetric and create a small peplum effect. Bette has a subtle cowl neck at the front and a low back with sparkling ivory and silver beaded trim.

Alice

ALICE is based on a glamorous 1930s lace wedding gown, with a subtle cowl neck and long lace sleeves. It is worn over a satin slip dress in a choice of shades. The demure high neckline and long sleeves are offset by the transparent lace and streamlined shape, the skirt can be A line or easily adapted for a soft mermaid shape.

Florence

FLORENCE, this glamorous dress is based on a 1940’s wedding dress, it has a  fitted waist and a flowing A line skirt combined with a subtly sexy, cross-over neckline. I offer several choices of sleeve style – satin puff sleeve; lace flutter sleeve; beaded lace cap sleeve, or elegant long sleeve with buttoned cuff.

It’s lovely to make it slightly differently for every bride. It can also be made with a key-hole back ( as shown in final image ) or a closed back. Beading can also be applied on shoulders, waist panel or neckline to your taste.

All my  vintage inspired dresses are made-to -order for each client and there are usually several options regarding lace choice, sleeve style, beaded trims etc. Please contact me and I will explain the process,
